Hello, I thought it was on this list that somebody recently mentioned a 'pseudo rpm creator' when compiling tarballs. This enabled you to more easily keep track of what was installed an also to easily uninstall the app when 'make uninstall' was unavailable. I have searched the archive but can't find anything and googling only yielded 'slurp' (which does not seem to be actively under development). However the app mentioned was not slurp.
