I have doubts that the VIA 82CXXX (notice the 'C') driver is correct
for a VIA 8233 chipset, although there is a 8233_5 ID mentioned in
the driver source code. Even then, apparently it doesn't work for
you.

I would suggest you try the snd-via8233.o driver from ALSA. Fetch
Matthias Saou's packages for Psyche here
