Yes, during the installation, you are able to specify the amount of RAM
that your video card has, overriding the value which is probed.  In
addition, with Red Hat Linux 8.0, you can run 'redhat-config-xfree86' which
will allow you to configure XFree86 for your machine.  You will be able to
specify the amount of RAM that your card has here as well.
