Configuring X to start with just netscape....

This may seem a little bit of an odd question, but here's the scenario. We have an information system which is displayed publicly on a rather nice palsma screen. Currently, the system run's on a W2k box, using netscape in kiosk mode. The problem is the bloody thing crashes almost daily and I have been asked if I can do a similar thing using Linux.

So, the question is, how can I configure X (say, on RH8) to start up a very basic window manager, with only netscape running? I'm very new to X11 config's so some hald held guidence would be much appriciated.

TIA

Dan

PS, I've looked thru all the various man pages and lists but can't even guess where to begin ! :)
