xclock display problem with new 4.0.2 RPMS

I use 1024x768 at 24 bit.

Here's an image that shows the problem (although often it looks much worse):

The "glitch" is between the 12 and the 1.

I haven't noticed if it happens all the time (but I assume it does)
since an expose event causes a redraw which "fixes it".
