Arjan Van de Ven has integrated the new 4.2.0 kernel DRM into our rawhide kernel. It may take a day to reach rawhide however. The new DRM is supposed to also be backward compatibile with XFree86 4.1.0 (untested). kernel 2.4.17-0.5 or later should have this integrated. I plan on putting the kernel rpm's on my ftp space as well. Please note, my new 4.2.0 packages (4.2.0-0.3) contain the updated kernel-drm dependancy. If you do not have the updated kernel which provides this, the packages will not upgrade. Using --nodeps, will cause XFree86 to upgrade, but DRI 3D acceleration will most likely fail. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike A.
