file offset - inode block number

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I was wondering if there some way to translate a file offset in bytes
to a corresponding logical block number (b_blocknr) in the inode. I
realise that these logical block numbers do not have to be sequential
but am still wondering if there is some macro/function that can do
this.

 thanks.
