Mallocing more then 64K of contiguous kernel memory

I was told that in the redhat 7.x, the kmalloc() restricts the
maximum allocable contiguous DMA memory to 64K .  Is this
true?

Is there a way around it ?  In addition to posting answer on the
mailing list, please send an email to me too.

Thanks,

Vijay.
