I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask about Rawhide RPMs.
Please be kind and let me know if it isn't.

I'm wondering what has changed recently wrt/ locales & glibc-2.3.1-51.
In particular how do I make man happy again?

I was using glibc-2.3.1-5 before I recently upgraded.

I see this when I try any simple man command like:
> man ls
iconv: conversion to `ISO-8859-1' is not supported

running iconv with no options I get:
> iconv
iconv: conversions from `ISO-8859-1' and to `ISO-8859-1' are not
supported

My iconv -l is MUCH smaller than the previous build:
> iconv -l
The following list contain all the coded character sets known. This does
not necessarily mean that all combinations of these names can be used for
the FROM and TO command line parameters. One coded character set can be
listed with several different names (aliases).

  10646-1:1993, 10646-1:1993/UCS4, ANSI_X3.4-1968, ANSI_X3.4-1986,
ANSI_X3.4,
  ASCII, CP367, CSASCII, CSUCS4, IBM367, ISO-10646, ISO-10646/UCS2,
  ISO-10646/UCS4, ISO-10646/UTF-8, ISO-10646/UTF8, ISO-IR-6, ISO-IR-193,

  UCS-2BE, UCS-2LE, UCS-4, UCS-4BE, UCS-4LE, UCS2, UCS4, UNICODEBIG,
  UNICODELITTLE, US-ASCII, US, UTF-8, UTF8, WCHAR_

I'm not using ISO-8859-1 directly to my knowledge here are my settings:
> cat /etc/sysconfig/i18n
LANG="en_CA"
SUPPORTED="en_CA:en:en_US.iso885915:en_US:en"
SYSFONT="alt-8x8"
SYSFONTACM="ISO8859-15"

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards,
