The kernel headers as necessary for building kernel modules, for instance, can be found in the kernel-source binary rpm for your kernel version. On the other hand, the headers in the kernel-headers package (the glibc-kernheaders package for newer versions of Red Hat Linux) are for compiling glibc and other apps/libs which depend on the kernel API. - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+J0sl0iMVcrivHFQRAmHxAJ9vvgEvG6rZMQzGhD3Ia8mG0zSfnQCfYadQ 2dgi02y42DLNPVlAvxeJjww= =00G5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-devel-list mailing list Redhat-devel-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-devel-list
