Are there any plans to include FWBuilder in Red Hat? http://fwbuilder.sourceforge.net/ AFAICT, it's the best open-source GUI to manage firewalls. It has many good features offered by closed-source GUIs; after working for a while with CheckPoint, FWBuilder was a breeze. IMO, if Linux is going to make it as a firewall in the enterprise, it needs a good GUI to perform administration in a complex environment. It's not like command-line tools are no good, but when the network grows beyond a certain size, you need a more structured approach to firewalls. This is what FWBuilder does: it allows you to think in a more structured way, define objects, attach properties to them, etc. -- Florin Andrei The geek shall inherit the Earth... _______________________________________________ Redhat-devel-list mailing list Redhat-devel-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-devel-list
