buildinstall problem

hi again,

first of all i'd like to thank Panu Matilainen for his reply to my
question, and in fact the problem was with the cd reader, as it doesn't
read cd-rw right, thanks again.

Now for a problem i have, when i run buildinstall /mycd, i have the
following error msg:

Building images...
(... snip ...)

mke2fs 1.23, 15-Aug-2001 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
Wrote /tmp/makebootdisk.tree.3962 (612k compressed, 1079k free)
Wrote /mycd/images/boot.img (9k free)
sed: couldn't write 19 items to {standard output}: No space left on
device
sed: Couldn't close {standard output}
/mycd/buildinstall.tree.32043/mk-images: Failed to copy messages from
/mycd/instimage/usr/lib/anaconda-runtime/boot/ to
/tmp/makebootdisk.tree.3962.

and it exists like this.

i tried to find wich .img it was trying to build, but had no success.

Anaconda is changed, it has the XFS patch in it, the dist has only the
new updates, plus a new kernel (2.4.17, BOOT-2.4.17, doc-2.4.17,
source-2.4.17). as i don't need the pcmcia for nothing i left the
kernel-pcmcia as the original kernel-pcmcia-cs-3.1.27-10.

oh, and sgi guys increased the ramdisk size in syslinux.cfg to 8192.

The question is, anyone knows what seemd to be the problem!?, if it can
be solved, and if it will boot correctly (ad i think it's a boot image
size problem :/ )

thanks for all the help.
