RPM Problems

Trying to reinstall the various packages of wxGTK I
have two problems:

(1) rpm recognises two rpm's installed under the name
wxGTK-gl-2.3.2-1.rpm.  Rebuilding the database doesn't
get rid of this.

(2) rpm -Uvvh on the rpm's results in:

> D: ============== wxGTK-2.3.2-1.i386.rpm
> error: read failed: Success (0)
> D: ============== wxGTK-devel-2.3.2-1.i386.rpm
> error: read failed: Success (0)
> D: ============== wxGTK-gl-2.3.2-1.i386.rpm
> error: read failed: Success (0)
> D: found 0 source and 0 binary packages

rpm variant is 4.0.4-7x.

Any idea what's likely to be going on here?

John
