There is a developer's section that has lots of information and their is a forum section to check out. If you can find the previous publisher, we may be able to find the group that has all the drivers and/or could write. It is evident that more people are using CUPS and more resources are "out there". Apple may have the drivers for your printer in OS X. You may be able to use those.
