Dear Members, while using "logrotate" command, what do we mean by "GLOBAL OPTION", & "LOCAL OPTION". And what would be the prospective answer to the following question ? You wish to rotate all your logs weekly except for the/var/log/wtmp log which you wish to rotate monthly. How could youaccomplish this. a. Assign a global option to rotate all logs weekly and a local option to rotate the /var/log/wtmp log monthly. b. Assign a local option to rotate all logs weekly and a global option to rotate the /var/log/wtmp log monthly. c. Move the /var/log/wtmp log to a different directory. Run logrotate against the new location. d. Configure logrotate to not rotate the /var/log/wtmp log. Rotate it manually every month.
