That is the thing, the machine is my web browser and I was just wondering why is there a firefox process but as you said then the firefox executable is not running but why is the mozila.sh running? However there should be another process which is the actually binary running itself. In my system for example: [georgios@slartibartfast xsltmodule]$ ps aux | grep firefox | grep -v grep georgios 26071 0.0 0.0 105580 1300 ? S 17:07 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/lib64/firefox-3.5/run-mozilla.sh /usr/lib64/firefox-3.5/firefox georgios 26086 6.4 1.0 751968 86940 ? Rl 17:07 0:13 /usr/lib64/firefox-3.5/firefox The latter is the actual binary running. Why? You do not see the Firefox window? -- Best regards, -- George Magklaras BSc (Hons) MPhil RHCE IT Systems Manager/Senior Systems Engineer The Biotechnology Center of Oslo University of Oslo http://www.biotek.uio.no http://www.no.embnet.org http://folk.uio.no/georgios -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
