Hi Wayhu, Check in '/etc/sysconfig/networking/' in the directories 'Default' and 'Profile' there is a 'eth2' and configured well. You can check in '/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth2' if exists the configuration. Is everything set, like : MAC='??:??:??:??:??:??' BOOTPROTO=static IPADDR='ip-address' NETMASK='subnet-address' GATEWAY='gateway ip' eventually the option 'DNS=' to the right dns-server. And check your log-files. Good luck. -----Original Message----- From: redhat-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Wahyu Darmawan Sent: Tue 24-11-2009 12:15 To: General Red Hat Linux discussion list Subject: RE: netmask: Host name lookup failure Hi Bassam, Yup, it's available on AS 2.1 and I've done with that command, but still unable.
