Hi,
Is it safe to rename a volume group in runlevel3 ? or runlevel 1? this is what i have:
/dev/VolGroup_ID_25312/LogVol2 /tmp
and i want to change it to:
/dev/VG01/LogVol2 /tmp
all my filesystems are in the same volume group. just want to shorten the VG name.
I also need to edit /etc/fstab after renaming, right?
