We do not see this problem when IP bonding is disabled.


Also, the switching from 100 to 1000 noted by Nicolas does
not occur on my system.

Also recall that this is not a "hard" problem". The problem
occurs only 10% of the time.

Does this happen while not doing NIC bonding?  It looks like a NIC problem not a nic-bonding issue, maybe a drive issue.  (emulex or Qlogic)

I have a system setup with IP bonding.
The NIC cards are 1gig,
but sometimes, not always, I get this error ( below )
which makes the NICs into 100Mbps.
( observed on the RH 4 Update 4 system. )

Anybody know why ?
