You need to turn "Off" the "ServerSignature" parameter in httpd.conf which is "On" by default:

ServerSignature On|Off

              i have configured apache Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS).
              my website address is www.xyz.com when i open this site with
this address my site work properly.
              when i give this address like this www.xyz.com/hello it`s
shows apache version and name of OS.
              i wanna hide my apache version no and OS name.
              here hello is nothing.
