Hello,

i installed postfix-2.0.16-14.1.RHEL3 from the channel and cyrus-sasl-2.1.15-15. now i tried to add
relayhost authentication for postfix to authenticate with our ISP by adding

#Smarthost Telekom + Authtentication
relayhost = bsmtp.telekom.at:25
smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/smtp_auth
smtp_sasl_security_options = noanonymous

in the main.cf of postfix.
the saslauthd service is running but i alway get the following postfix error:

Jul 7 11:27:25 ingw postfix/smtp[13427]: warning: smtp_sasl_auth_enable is true, but SASL support
is not compiled in

as given in the postfix packet-informations sasl should be activated:

[root@ingw postfix]# rpm -qi postfix
