In addition would it be interesting to know if sshd is running on the
remote host and if you can ping it
You can also test if the remote host is accepting remote connections by
typing
	telnet ip_of_the_host 22

If this gives you information about the ssh version than you can be sure
that the problem is most likely located
On the remote host, specifically on permissions account site.
