Memory Tuning and Context Switches

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi again,

We've just upgraded to 12GB of ram and are still experiencing extremely high
context switches, in some cases, 45000 (vmstat 3 100).

Does anyone have a link to a technical doc that has information specifically
dealing with context switching and RAM optimization?

I'm thinking that I just need to give more cpu time to kswapd. Comments?

Thanks.

I've already read this link:
