Disk Driver RHEL 4.0

I am using RHEL 4.0. The computer is ACER Pentium. core2 duo processor.

Problem: When I use the RHEL CD to boot, the system reads from the disk and then initialization starts. But then it asks where is the source on CD ROM, hard disk etc. I try to give it CDROM and it says, driver not found and asks me for the driver. My question is that if it has already read the CD ROM disk and reached this stage, why can't it use the same driver. Why is it asking the new driver?
I changed to hard disk option for installation. And it says, driver not found for hard disk. I am at a loss to decide to what to do?
Any help please. I wish to install RHEL on ACER machine.

bye
