Guys, The reason i could not use yum is that my rhel server is not registered with rhn. Which raises one question. Our subscription to rhel has expired and when it was running, it said we could use 2 socket connection.? What does it exactly mean ? Can anyone give me a quick explanation. Also we already have one rhel box registered with rhn using our sole login credential ( it was registered before our subscription expired. So when i tried to connect the new server to rhn it said that our subscription has expired and that we already have one server registered with them. What exactly is required to use yum ??
