hyphens.
And where is the 'Access a Subscription' screen?
How do I get the updates working?

You don't have to use an installation number to get updates.

Besides updating through pup, registering also allows you to look at
one web page and to see the status of all your systems' update status
and the status of the RH contract. It's nice to have registered
system.

rhn_register registers you with RHN. pup is a gui front end for
yum. Once you're registered with RHN, pup will work fine, and
you'll never need an installation number.
