Prior to 64-bit release of Xen hypervisor (that is, before the summer of 2007), the 32bit-PAE version of Xen allowed the use of up to 16GB of memory. You can leverage up to 128GB of memory with a current 64-bit Xen modified GNU/Linux kernel. Hope the info is useful.
