Tomcat 6 will never be in RHEL 4 or 5.  With the exception of a few
desktop apps, software in RHEL is never rebased within a major
version.

In other words, since Tomcat 5 was out when RHEL 5 was created, RHEL
5.infinity will still have Tomcat 5.  If you want software versions to
change out from under you, don't run an enterprise-quality distro. :)

Your best bet is to either a) build it yourself (wheee!); or b) find a
third-party repo that has it.  AFIACT, though, even Jpackage doesn't
have it yet.
