Look into syslog-ng

You can also use standard syslog to split different types of messages into different log files

In syslog.conf

Mail.* /var/log/mail.log

Just an example

Subject: Creating new kernel log facilities

Hi all,
I have this little issue in a couple of servers.
I would like to set up a differenciated kernel log facility, specifically
for the netfilter module... I would really apreciate some help with this.

Thanks in advance,
Alejandro.
