I/O error

the server is attached to SAN through 2xHBA's using RHEL5 multipath
I built a LUN0 (50G) with sdd/sdb expanded through another LUN(50G) sdc/sde
the /dev/dm-2 shows 100G space but on the same time the sdc/sde shows error
I/O

any help?
