Yes you can do so... Try this: ps aux | awk '{ print $8 " " $2 }' | grep -w Z; Kill them one by one.. e.g kill -9 4104 or else direct them into a file and place this command in a for or while loop.. Hope that helps! ~Regards Debajit kataki On Tue, 23 Oct 2007 smitha rao wrote : >Hi All, > >I was wondering if i can kill all the zombie process in my server in one >shot. > > >~Regards > >Smitha >-- >redhat-list mailing list >unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe >https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subjecthttps://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
