Linux and Quad-core CPU security

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello All,

When quad-core processors were released a short while back, I heard some
brief blurbs about how there were security issues with the shared CPU
cache memory.

So, some questions:

1) Did that turn out to be a non-issue?
2) If not, does anyone know what's being done to solve the problem (esp
from a Linux perspective)? The issue seems to have dropped of the "IT
News" radar.

Cheers,
Arpotu.
