This is almost always a permissions problem...

Ensure that /root/.ssh is chmod 700

Hi All,
I wanted to setup a client and server without password authentication.
So I have copied "/root/.ssh/id_rsa.pub" from client which contains the
public key to
"/root/.ssh/authorized_keys" in the server. But still it is prompting
for the password. Could someone help me. Your response will be well
appreciated.
Thanks,
