The access time is not in human readable time format, it's actually in the first field of the line in the log file. You can look at this link, it states something about squid log format http://www.linuxjunkies.org/adminstration%20Howto/webminguide/x4591.htm and this http://www.unix.org.ua/squid/FAQ-6.html I suggest that you use sarg for analyzing squid log files. Sarg will analyze the log file and generate the reports like access time, top downloads, etc. Paulus Junior Lazuardi -----Original Message----- From: redhat-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:redhat-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Vivek Mangal Sent: Wednesday, July 25, 2007 1:50 PM To: redhat-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: help in squid acces log file Hi all, I have configured squid-2.4 and it works properly but i am facing a problem that In access.log file i am getting output like { 1182742815.863 5585 192.168.8.101 TCP_REFRESH_MISS/200 14703 GET http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_world_edition/front_page/rss.xml - DIRECT/212.58.226.33 application/xml 1182742820.696 5943 192.168.8.101 TCP_MISS/302 522 GET http://mail.yahoo.com/ - DIRECT/69.147.112.160 text/html 1182742833.795 13060 192.168.8.101 TCP_MISS/200 27123 CONNECT login.yahoo.com:443 - DIRECT/69.147.112.160 - } i can not find out the time at which they access web site.
