Scientific Linux 5 is just a repackaged RH5 ie 2.6.18-8.1.4.el5xen with dl2k driver v1.19. Basically, the DL2000 based gigabit nic card D-LINK DGE-550sx comes up fine with Scientific Linux 5 (x86) but if you stress it by doing a big sftp, for example, the link freezes up. No real diagnostics, though I did get a "xenbr0: hw csum failure" one time. Has anyone seen this, or heard about a known issue?
