Hi,

	I think ipw2200 module is already present in linux kernel. Just
try to load the module ( ipw2200.ko ) by modprobe ipw2200

Then using wifi manager utility u can see whether its connected to the
network or not

I haven't tried this on CentOS but on Fedora it works just fine:
