Hi all, 1. I have logged into a machine as ravi "non root user" and created a file called "schedule.out"(It has some content). 2. I have one more file as "root.txt", where the "non root users" will not have permissions to edit this file. When I execute the following command "sudo cat .schedule.out >> /var/spool/cron/root.txt" I am getting error as "/var/spool/cron/root.txt: Permission denied" But how can I make it to write as a "non root user". Your help will be appreciated. Thanks & Regards, Ravi SASKEN BUSINESS DISCLAIMER ------------------------- This message may contain confidential, proprietary or legally privileged information.
