rpm -ql ocfs-tools-1.2.3-1 (you might not need the 1.2.3-1)

rpm -q ocfs-tools-1.2.3-1 --whatprovides

rpm -qc ocfs-tools-1.2.3-1 -> shows config files

There are other options (like the -qc) that can be used but I cannot think of the exact syntax right now.

Subject: how to check what files an rpm installed

I installed this package

ocfs2-tools-1.2.3-1

How do I find out what files were installed onto my system and what
locations that relate to
this package?

I tried a

# rpm --list ocfs2-tools-1.2.3-1

but got syntax errors.

Thank You.
