Yes, it was designed for sendmail. But soon after was extended to
work with a little effort for exim, qmail and postfix.
It has been around for several years, I have tried spohos's package,
amavisd(-new), and some other crap that lasted a mere 30 mins.
None of them come close to MailScanners performance on large
enterprise mail servers.
And anyone using qmailscanner needs to replace it with MailScanner, they
will be impressed with the results if they run large servers.
