After a sleepless night :), i tried to execute this on client machine ypcat
-k auto{master, home} >> /etc/auto{master,home} as root, reboot the box and
voila it works! But being a newbie on this NIS jungle, am i doing the right
thing? am i right in my assumption that every map file that you've share on
NIS server must replace/append the local files?
e.gauto{master,home},hosts,ethers...etc inorder for it to work?

Valuable info and field knowledge are greatly welcome for meditation,
thanks a lot :)
