Additional Kernel Parameters

In case you hadn't guessed from my last message, I'm trying to make sure that
our installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 4 complies with the
requirements of a new database we are installing. The database developer
(Datatel) advises us to make sure the following kernel parameters are set to
certain minimum levels. Can anyone tell me how to view and set these items?
Thanks. -Glenn.

maximum number of user processes
maximum number of system users
maximum number of semaphores
maximum number of per-process open files
maximum number of system-wide files
maximum number of system processes
