RE: Uninstall Redhat Network Components - Continued

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I am running 30 odd machines 29 are running Redhat WS version 3 and only 1
is using Redhat ES version 3.

>From what you have said is looks like i cannot run any of these machines
with out paying out on support, is this correct ?

I have not done any upgrades or downloads i.e RHEL ISO's, the machines at
just standard installs from the original CD's i had over a year ago.

Regards

Andrew Bridgeman

IANAL, but:
What they want is money.  If you don't pay them then you can't use ANY of
their EL distributions.  That's what Fedora and the other "free"
distributions are for.

So, to answer your question, they want you to remove everything that was
installed from either the RHEL installation CD or the downloaded RHEL
ISO's. (V2, 3, 4, and 5)

Regards, Marshall
