Hi,

I have not tested RHEL4 64 bit but just to double check with you. Is your
syntax correct (no typos)?

You have written:

"snmpwalk -v1 -cpublic 127.0.01 memAvail.0"

Three points here:

1. There should be space between "-c" and "public"
2. The IP address should be 127.0.0.1
3. Have you tried giving "snmpwalk -v1 -c public 127.0.0.1"? Do you get any
response?

Subject: Net-snmp under RHEL4 64

Hi,

Has someone tested the RHEL4 64 net-snmp agent version?

When I ask it about some basic counters (for instance, available memory --
"snmpwalk -v1 -cpublic 127.0.01 memAvail.0") but no response is given.

Am I missing something?

thanks
