Apparently, mailx is just a symlink to mail. But this doesn't really fix the problem I'm having now, which is my script doesn't run as mail requires a CTRL+D in order to send the message. I usually do something like mail -s subject foo@xxxxxxx < some-file or echo "text to mail" | mail -s subject foo@xxxxxxx John -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
