If you have login access as root...Run pwconv  which will create /etc/shadow file  ..

If you don't have access.. Boot machine into maitanance mode and run pwconv .. Change passwd for root and admin then boot machines into multiuser mode.

im  new in linux i deleted my shadow file by mistake is there anyway so that i can recover it. plz help me i dont want to reinstall the system.
