Hello, Thank you for your suggestion, but the only device that uses an IDE cable in our system is the DVD-ROM drive. The hard drives use SATA. Also, the IDE cable being used by the DVD-ROM drive is only a 40-wire flat cable, not 80 wires. Nevertheless, i tried unplugging the DVD-ROM drive, and we still get the same error. Also, if this was the problem, why did it work during the installation? Thanks anyway! :-) Any other ideas? Thanks in advance, Richard.
