Importvg in Linux LVM

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Good Afternoon,

I was using LVM with Red Hat ES 4, but my xseries internal disk crashed, so
I had to reinstall Linux.

I have a Storage with 10 LUNs being used with this Linux, I can see all the
LUNs when I use #fdisk -l, I would like to know how can I import this VG
(the Vg contains the 10 PVs) in Linux LVM.

When I type:

#lvm
lvm>pvs - Nothing appears
lvm>vgs - Nothing appears
lvm>importvg -a - Nothing to be imported

Is there a good LVM manual so I can read more about it?

Thanks!
