a gdm problem

Hello,
Our fedora linux box restarted this morning after electricity power tage.
The following error messages show up
"Server Authorization directory(daemon/ServAuthDir) is set to /var/gdm but
this does not exist. Please
corret gdm configuration (etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf and restart gdm."
I checked the folder /etc/gdm and could not find the file _0.Xauth. I copy
one back from the backup. It still does not work.
"-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 45 Apr 10 09:09 _0.Xauth"
Any ideas? Thanks.

peter
