Hi,

I am trying to ftp to a linux server from my desktop.
I get the following ftp error.  Please help.

ftp> hash
Hash mark printing On  ftp: (2048 bytes/hash mark) .
ftp> mput *
mput httpd-2.0.55.tar.gz? y
*200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV.
550 Permission denied.*
ftp> put httpd-2.0.55.tar.gz
*200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV.
550 Permission denied.*
ftp> bye
221 Goodbye.
