Hello,
I'm trying to install RHEL 3.0 on AMD Athlon machine with 80 GB SATA HDD. I
have already installed Win XP on it and left 20 GB free space for Linux.
During installation i got a message " No Hard drives have been found. You
probably need to manually choose device drivers for the installation to
suceed". Then i continue with the h/w probing and i get a message before
partitioning " an error has occured- no valid devices were found on which to
create new file systems" and then the system reboots without installing and
the same thing repeats again. If anybody has come accross similar to this,
let me know what needs to be done to install linux successfully. Thanks in
advance
